ABOUT THOMAS LIFT

Thomas Lift is a socially conscious company creating inspired art, design, and soon clothing as a brand of love and justice. Our passion for creating inspired live & studio art and design is to creatively engage people for the purpose of bringing to light the cry of the oppressed while expressing hope and love through beautiful works of art.

Our names are William and Ronja Butler, and we are the owners of Thomas Lift, LLC. William is a nationally-recognized artist and designer, and Ronja is the CEO of Thomas Lift. We are also the proud parents of two amazing boys.

We recently moved from Des Moines, Iowa, to Camden, New Jersey, to open Gallery Eleven One and to expand our business, Thomas Lift. Our desire is to help bring restoration to the people of Camden. Thank you for joining us in doing good in the city of Camden.

We strive to live simply and give generously. At least 10% of our sales and fees received for all art and design is given back to help and empower the enslaved, orphaned, and poor.

PASSION FOR JUSTICE:

Our hearts break for the people in this world struggling to survive. Each day, 30,000 children die – many due to the lack of basic needs. In addition, over 24 million adults and children around the world endure the horrors of slavery, either by forced prostitution or forced labor, with this being a multibillion-dollar industry worldwide.

The pain and despair impoverished & enslaved people experience is horrific. That is why we founded Thomas Lift – to raise awareness of the slavery and hurt in this world and to make a difference by restoring lives and communities by developing a sustainable business model bringing change, one person and one employee at a time.

We moved to Camden, NJ, to help bring justice and restoration to this hurting city. We are excited about being part of the restoration of Camden. The Scripture words, “Where there is no vision, the people perish,” are etched in large letters into the facade of the Camden City Hall. We believe there is a great vision for Camden – one achieved by walking in love & humility and by empowering people.

Thomas Lift is to walk out the following words from Isaiah 61:

…Renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations,
…Bind up the brokenhearted,
…Proclaim freedom for the captives,
…Bring good news to the poor
