Come experience 3rd Thursdays in Camden each month occurring the 3rd Thursday of the month beginning Feb. 16th.

We will have a reception at Gallery Eleven One that evening & each 3rd Thursday following, and we are inviting other creative arts venues, restaurants, and other entities to participate with us in these 3rd Thursday events in Camden. We hope these events will create an opportunity for Camden area residents and visitors alike to experience Camden and its participating entities in a positive and creative way. William painted live during the Adventure Aquarium New Year’s Eve Deep Sea Splash Gala Event in Camden, NJ, with over 1,200 in attendance.

These commissioned paintings will be exhibited in the Currents Ballroom at the Adventure Aquarium.  We were honored to partner with the leadership of the aquarium and to participate in the gala.

William created the following paintings (entitled Living Hope) live at each of the Christmas Eve Services at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines, Iowa, with over 26,000 in attendance.

It was a blessing partnering with Hope for the beautiful services.

The Living Hope paintings (48”x 48”- mixed media on board) are available for purchase for $2,000 each with 25% of the proceeds going to Hope.

Art Exhibit – ONETHING Conference – Kansas City

We will be joining the International House of Prayer at the Onething Conference (www.onething.com) at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, MO, on December 28th. The conference begins on Dec. 28th through Dec. 31st. William’s fine art prints & other fine art merchandise will be sold during the entire conference.

City of Camden Holiday Celebration Reception-Sat. Dec. 10

William painted live during the Heart of Camden Gala Event. During this event, the Heart of Camden honored Jon Bon Jovi and the great work of the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.

William’s live art painting entitled Breakthrough was given to Jon Bon Jovi as a surprise gift for him that evening at the gala. During Jon Bon Jovi’s acceptance speech, he was kind to thank William personally for the inspiring painting. It was an honor to have partnered with the Heart of Camden for this event.

William will be painting live during the Heart of Camden Cocktail & Dinner Dance Gala Event on Friday, December 2nd, beginning at 6:00pm.

During this event, the Heart of Camden will honor Jon Bon Jovi and the work of the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. This gala will be held at the Crowne Plaza at 2349 West Marlton Pike in Cherry Hill, NJ.

The Heart of Camden is an incredible organization. Their mission and central focus is to improve the quality of life for the children of the neighborhood of Waterfront South in Camden, NJ, by providing safe, decent, affordable housing for families. William’s Painting “Afflicted” Receives Honorable Mention:

We are honored to participate in this exhibit which is open to the public through Dec. 15th.

William’s paintings were selected to be exhibited at a juried art show at the Hopkins House Gallery located at 250 South Park Drive in Haddon Twp., NJ.

The opening reception for the 37th Annual Juried Exhibition will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12th, from 2-4pm.

CAMDEN — In a city like Camden, inspiration isn’t hard to come by for artist William Butler.

From his window inside the restored Firehouse No. 6 in the city’s quaint Cooper Grant neighborhood, the Midwest transplant has a view of lush green playing fields and the soaring Ben Franklin Bridge.

Beyond those is the abject poverty of North Camden.

The contemporary art studio and gallery Butler has dubbed Eleven One opened Friday with nearly two dozen pieces of original artwork — all meant to inject the arts into the city.
