Encounter is a visual interplay between the words and imagery that signifies the mystery of the Trinity while conveying passion and purpose through the blending of the dove, the face of Jesus, and the cross. The foundational layers of this painting are inscribed with Scripture from John 1:1–5, Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 40. These Scriptures cover the entire surface of the canvas in hues of green, blue, purple, red & gold.
