23 Jan Abundant Blessings in 2025 & Prayers for Peace & Miracles over Beautiful Los Angeles
Our hearts ache and ache with yours in regard to the horrific devastation impacting countless lives in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas! We are truly grateful to God we are safe, and we are sincerely thankful for your love, prayers, and concern for us! We are certainly blessed by all of you!
It is incredibly tragic how people are suffering exponentially, and many have lost their homes, their livelihoods, their communities, and the list goes on. Please know the photos of LA burning are from local news sources. The biggest photo of William and me above is us in lovely Malibu weeks ago, and now this area is completely destroyed by the fires. Many of the other photos to the right are of us in beautiful places throughout Los Angeles which have also been devastated by the fires. Please know these horrific fires are still raging with more people and communities at risk.
Please know we are in constant prayer for all those in Los Angeles and the region. We continue to pray boldly for the Lord’s miraculous hand upon all – that God’s peace, protection, provision, and mercy surround all people in Los Angeles and the region. We especially pray God’s protective hand and wisdom over the brave fire fighters and other first responders and leaders. Also, we pray for the families who have lost loved ones in these fires; we pray God’s comfort and strength encircle them. In addition,
we pray for all winds to be calm, all fires to be extinguished, and for no new fires to occur. We pray Psalm 91 over all in Los Angeles. And we pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus.
Our days consist of praying, helping and praying for those we can in the midst of working (we are blessed to be in a safe location where William is finishing a new series of artwork) and doing life, and then crying and praying again. Throughout all of this, please be reminded we are not alone, and we all have Hope. God is with all in Los Angeles (and with all of us). Ps. 46:1 states: God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. God loves us and never leaves us nor forsakes us. He has good plans for each of us. God will continue to hold us all through this, and He will bring incredible beauty from these ashes (Isa. 61).
We truly thank you for your prayers for all in Los Angeles, and for those who can, your support to the Dream Center LA (https://www.dreamcenter.org/), Union Rescue Mission (https://urm.org/#justhelp1), or other great LA entities which are heroically helping so many who are suffering due to these horrific fires. Thank you for giving of your time, talents, and provision to those in need (and there is so much need here and throughout our world).
We praise the Lord for each of you, and our love and prayers are with you! We pray God’s abundance of blessings, wisdom, health, and restoration as well as His great peace, provision, and protection over each of you and your families and loved ones as well as over your work, business, livelihood, and/or ministry too throughout 2025 and beyond!
