God’s Miracles Over William – Healed From Cancer

God’s Miracles Over William – Healed From Cancer

Dear loved ones, we have the best news to share with you! William is healed from cancer, and is getting stronger and healthier with each day! He continues to walk out his full restoration in the Lord. We praise God over and over for this awesome and miraculous news! The Lord is our Almighty Healer, and in His love and mercy, He has blessed William with His healing touch! Isa. 53:5 states: By His (Jesus’) Stripes, we are healed. We are in awe of the Lord as we share: By His Stripes, William was/is healed!

A quick summary on this follows: On Sat., Feb. 2, William and I were enjoying time in Phoenix, as precious friends allowed us to use their home for William to finish creating a new series of artwork. That day, William was creating art and feeling well, and we were with friends that evening. Yet the next day, William was bleeding in his urine (we thought it was kidney stones). By that late evening, William was hemorrhaging and experiencing tremendous pain. Therefore, we rushed William to the ER where they placed a catheter in him to try to stop the bleeding. We were in the ER from 10:30pm and all night/early morning long. Later that day, William required a 3 hour + surgery where a portion of a large cancerous tumor (larger than a softball) was removed from his bladder. He lost 25% of his blood so he required two blood transfusions which had him hospitalized for 5 days (still being in severe pain). Later, we were blessed to see expert doctors at the cancer center who concluded he needed a radical cystectomy (please look up what this means) which would require 5 months of surgeries & recovery and would only give William perhaps 5 years to live.

Yet please know (all glory to God!) this is not the end of William’s story! From the very beginning, William and I prayed fervently to God as did our grown sons. I was blessed to never leave William’s side, to pray boldly without ceasing, and to read Scripture over William. We are sincerely thankful to the Lord and humbled by the hundreds of praying people receiving updates from us, and then the thousands of people who have prayed fervently for William. All of these powerful prayers had a massive impact, and we truly appreciate each person who has prayed for William. We are tremendously grateful to God He saved William’s life and brought complete healing upon him! “I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17).

God brought this healing upon William in a number of ways. First, the Lord miraculously healed William. Yet the Lord also used western medicine (the heroic doctors and nurses at the ER and hospital as well as the surgeon who removed a portion of the large cancerous tumor in William’s bladder). In addition, God used eastern medicine (holistic health methods) such as: very healthy foods (no sugars or starchy carbs and all organic), natural supplements, and more. William implemented these holistic health methods as soon as he left the hospital and continues to do so many times daily ever since. Prayer, good rest, exercise, and sunshine have also been so very important.

Please know William has grown stronger and healthier with each day. Even 22 days after his hospital stay, his vitals were perfect, and finally without the catheter, he was without pain. At that time, William already was looking like himself able to exercise and create artwork. And William continued to have small mass pieces come out of him through his urine so we knew the remaining mass in his bladder was shrinking.

I praise the Lord for William and for his kindness, resiliency, and trust in God throughout this journey (even when countless times he had extreme pain). His character reflected Jesus, and this impacted all who were around him. William also never lost his sense of humor which is a huge blessing.

William has been able to create artwork again, and he is painting each day. William is working to complete his recent series of artwork prior to us returning to LA and being in our van full-time (which will be in early May). We are very excited for you all to see this stunning and important artwork. Thank you for your continued prayers for William.

William and I are extremely grateful to those who have been helping us on this journey since William was in the ER. These include precious friends who are doctors, a nurse, and those who are experts in holistic health methods. Their prayers (and believing with us for God’s miracles over William) and expertise have been a huge blessing to us, and we praise the Lord for all of this.

In addition, we are extremely grateful to all who have been so very generous to us. Throughout this journey, we have had amazing people provide places for us to stay in PHX. We are incredibly thankful to the precious family where we have recently been staying (we have been here since the end of February). We also are so very thankful and truly praise God for those who have purchased William’s artwork (which helps provide for us – especially with the medical bills which we are now receiving). Other incredible people have sent us gift certificates or money for groceries. And others have provided healthy foods or healthy supplements for William. We are overwhelmed by the Lord’s love and care for us through all of these generous people.

Each day, our prayer to God is asking how we can be more effective for Him in reaching this suffering world with the love and hope of Jesus. We never thought this journey with the Lord would have us on this recent path, but we have continued to trust God with each step. Our journey of living in the inner city of Camden, NJ, for close to 13 years and then most recently, for over a year, being mobile for God (living/working/ministering in a sprinter van) primarily in Los Angeles has taught us to surrender and trust in the Lord with each day. Yet this recent journey has had us in a posture of needing the Lord and trusting in Him with each second. Throughout all of this, God has never left our side. God has continued to love us, sustain us, lead us, protect us, and ultimately heal William. We praise the Lord for all of this!

Thank you for reading through this, and we pray this has been a blessing and encouragement to you. Our love and prayers are with you and your family/loved ones! God’s abundance of peace, grace, wisdom, healing, blessings, and miracles over you all! Also, we pray the following Scripture encourages you:

The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Phil. 4:5-7
