28 Sep Recent Commissioned Painting for The Cooper Foundation in Camden NJ
We are sincerely honored William was commissioned to create an important painting for The Cooper Foundation which was unveiled at a celebration event at Cooper University Hospital on Monday, Sept. 19th. The title of this painting is Cooper: Brilliant Legacy & Thriving Destiny (36” x 48” – acrylic on canvas).
At this event, Cooper announced its $2 billion dollar expansion in Camden over the next 10 years. Gov. Phil Murphy, Former Gov. Chris Christie, Ms. Kelly Ripa (via video), Mr. George E. Norcross III, Congressman Donald Norcross, Camden’s Mayor Vic Carstarphen, Mr. Kevin O’Dowd, and Dr. Anthony Mazzarelli spoke at the event. Then, at the end of the program, William’s artwork was unveiled. We give special thanks to Mr. Phil Norcross, Ms. Dana Redd, and Ms. Dina Mathews-Laurendeau.
William’s painting will be auctioned at The Cooper Foundation’s 2022 Red Hot Gala on Friday, Sept. 30th, at the Triad1828 Center in Camden, NJ. The highest bidder that evening will receive this painting, and all of the funds raised will go to The Cooper Foundation’s incredible work in Camden and this region. We are thankful for encouragement and support from those in leadership in Camden. Photos above (with the artwork) are with Mayor Vic Carstarphen as well as with Councilman Rev. Chris Collins, Ms. Queen Stewart, and Mr. Arthur Barclay.
We were honored to attend and to celebrate Cooper’s (as well as Camden’s) successes throughout the years and especially in the last ten years. Special thanks to Neill Borowski for his photo of William’s painting in his article: www.tapinto.net/camden-2-billion
