Speaking Engagement at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church on Rodeo Drive – Beverly Hills, CA

William and I were incredibly honored to speak at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church (BHPC) on Sunday morning, November 24. This beautiful and historic landmark church is located at the corner of Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica Blvd. in Beverly Hills. We were blessed to meet many incredible people who attended and were at the church services that morning.

William shared his beautiful artwork. Also, he spoke on his journey of being a professional artist for 30+ years as well as his faith journey and how this has influenced his creative process and artwork. I spoke on how we were blessed to live in Camden, NJ, for close to 13 years and how we enjoyed being a creative spark for the arts in our city and having the art help bring love and hope to all we met (and how we continue to do this as we are now in LA). We also spoke on the importance of beautiful art in our world today which helps to bring unity, healing, and joy to all people groups, and we encouraged those attending to pursue their gifts in the visual arts and in the creative arts overall.

That morning, we were blessed to partner with wonderful Calvin Main, one of the leaders at the church, who is also gifted in videography as well as fine art. Calvin organized, facilitated, and asked us questions during the event. It was a true joy to be the first invited artists to partner with him in this important program he is leading.

Also, William and I were very blessed as Rev. Dr. Bruce Main was the guest preacher at both services that morning. He is a gifted leader with great heart and faith. To view the service and for more information on BHPC:

It was a privilege to be invited and to speak at BHPC. They are a loving church community, and we were truly blessed by the kindness of this church to us. Special thanks to wonderful Brian Walters, Calvin Main, Jan Eagle, and Pastor Andrew Eagles.

Also, BHPC is celebrating 100 years (this was the first established church in Beverly Hills in 1925) and has/had famous people be members of the church. Throughout the years, BHPC has been in movies as well as televised specials. This was Jimmy Stewart’s church, and he led a televised Christmas special for years in the late 80’s.
